I have spent the largest part of my life outdoors in nature's midst; it's where I'm most comfortable! As a young boy, I'd spend hours & hours romping with my Irish Setter companion named Shane in the rolling hills of southwestern Pennsylvania.

I learned photography the "hard" way with a manual camera, a Pentax K1000. Back then the AF cameras where incredibly expensive, but the manual SLRs  were affordable. So I was forced to learn & understand exposure, speed, lighting, flash, etc...by trial and error.
